Story

Follows the protagonist's journey through a numb-minded civilisation, caused by overstimulation and an existential crisis of finding meaning within a society fighting for your attention. 

 

About

This demo was created as my response to the brief "Create a game that tells a story and explores a cultural/social/ethical issue" for my final end of year college project. As part of The Healing Collection, a college group project consisting of four indie game developers, this game is my perspective on exploring mental health through interactive media and storytelling. This demo aims to immerse the player in an atmospheric & eerie environment, through its retro low-poly presentation and creepy sound design, while delivering a meaningful message to the player that stays with them after completing the game.
